** "Fish for the Cure" **

Post by Wild Bill »

"Fish for the Cure"
-----------------------

I am co-hosting an event called "Fish for the Cure" in Connecticut on May 27th this year to raise money for Breast Cancer Research done by the American Cancer Society, which is the recipient of this fund-raising event.

I am seeking donation of checks of ANY size payable to "The American Cancer Society" which will be added to the funds we raise through this event.

I am also seeking product support for a tackle raffle that will be held that day, to also add to the funds generated by this event, which 100% of the proceeds will be donated.

Donations of either checks* or products should be mailed to:

"Fish for the Cure"/Wild Bill
25 Doris Place
Malverne, NY 11565

*be sure to make the checks payable to "The American Cancer Society."

Yes, I have a motive in this; my wife is a 7-plus year survivor of malignant Breast Cancer that had spread to her Lymph nodes, requiring nearly 13 hours of surgery that day.
If we can help speed the finding of THE CURE for Cancer, it would be a beautiful thing. Hopefully soon, someday no woman will have to go through both the physical and emotional hell my wife went through by the cure being found.

As Bass angler, I am trying to get many to join this so we can show the world that we Bass anglers REALLY DO CARE and can get involved as a group.
Please join in this fund raiser, if even for only $2, $5, or $10, because if many give, it WILL add up to a considerable sum.
Together, we CAN make a difference !!!

Thank you for ANY support that you can show towards this fund raiser !!

Post by Wild Bill »

My sincere thanks to John of Minda Lures for his offer today to provide product support with the Minda "Spear Worms" for this fund-raising event.

Thanks so much for your generousity, John !!

This means a lot to me, as my wife is a seven-plus-year Breast Cancer Survivor.
Hopefully, someday, through research [which this fund drive will fund], the cure to Breast Cancer [and other cancers] will be found.

Together, we CAN make a difference.
