Heavy Weight Bass Classic

Post by Brian D. »

This is gonna be a blast! Who is gonna take the cheese and the belt? Could it be a noted big bass guy or a local hot shot.?

Not sure if the field is full, but if it isnt you better sign up before Wednesday night, March 17, 2010 at 11:59 PM.

1-fish = 10 G's. This will be the best payday for any event at Diamond Valley scheduled for 2010.

Come on fellas lets make this an awesome event. In recent tournaments more and more big fish are coming to the scales. With the warmer weather this week its inevitable that the really big girls are up in the shallows.

Who's coming down? SoCal guys, lets show our brothers from the North how good Diamond Valley really is...

Most of the guys are locked down on casitas and Cy boats are also.
Plus some of the others will not meet the DVL Regs. Plus I would hate for something to happen to someones boat. Next time I will buy a Merc or deal with someone engine company that stands behind their parts. Honda is giving me that good old run around.

Too bad Chief, if I had one that could get on I'd let you borrow it.

A friend just got his boat disqualified for a week and is now looking for a replacement for this. They are searching very hard to find a drop of water, it's like they are on a mission is what I hear.

I'll see some of you guys- VTO as I had to cancel a Yosemite trip/class. Don't know, only 41 entrants w/ about 46 VTO's at last look (earlier today). Guess I'm a backup as I just got in a couple of days ago!!?

I heard the reasons why some of the boats got turned away last weekend..

one guy had a full livewell

one guy had his plug in and when they pulled the plug water ran out and he wasnt tagged.

and one guy had the wrong engine

Plug out, wells dry and open the compartment to your battery and whipe it clean and you should be able to fish.
Create your own luck.

I called DVL and they do have live wells in the rentals, but they will not allow the boat out until its safe life. Because they have no lights and I did ask if they would give a discount to anyone who is fishing the HBC and they said no. Its 120 a day to rent them. hope this helps someone.
