If I was going to guess I would say Bidwell. The spillway only had one lane last weekend and I don't think the water has come up enough to open all lanes yet. Bidwell was ok except for the parking lot is a big mud hole. I guess we will have to sit back and wait for the boss to decide....

flipit,

The reason there is likely none posted or its questionable is due to the water fluctuations and unknowns on which ramp is accessible.

If you are fishing the tourney, then the only right answer is for you to call the tourney director an get the info from them directly.
Danny or Randy are easily reachable.

anything short to that, is your fault for listening to others and not taking the time to get the information first hand.

Good Luck,

Not sure why I should have to call the director, Im the paying customer. If they want folks to show it makes more sense to let them know where it is.

uh, simple because if you dont and miss the cheick-in you will be DQ'd. Then who you gonna blame, your buddy, the guy on WB who said it was the dam, the organization for finalizing the ramp situation that weekend? its your responsibility to get any information for the tourney you dont have. They dont know if you have that info or not, the only way to ensure it is for you to call.

As i explained, the ramp situation is dicey as it changes weekly, therefore i know they dont want to "post" one thing and then have to try and change it and get it all messed up. thereofore, its everyone's best interest to say "TBD" and make the call a few days before the event. therefore if its not posted or says TBD, then its YOUR responsibilty to call and get the info prior to the start.

All the circuits have had this issue lately as the lake is rising and changing daily. This is NOT a WRL issue. We changed it for WON, we changed it for A/C and i am sure it got changed for many others as the ramps were just not open.

Again, take responsibility for your own destiny with the tourney, be prepared, and dont let something like this diminish your efforts. call em, get the info, then go fish.

seriously, Good Luck.

I was there the past 3 weeks. There is no ramp issue at this point. The damn or Bidwell can be used. Bidwell makes the most sense as it has much more room for launching. I can call and ask, but that still does nothing for the 100+ other teams.

Im taking responsibility by asking here, and hope others will get the info also.

On 3/6 for the Anglers Choice tournament we launched from the dam and the lake stood at 724 and change. Its now 732 and showing a 1' gain on average per day. It has to be awfully close to having more than 1 lane open. I hate launching from Bidwell because of the mud. The other option would be to launch from the dam and drive around the corner to Bidwell for the blastoff if Bidwell is where it starts. Of course you would have to get a live well check, but I've seen it done for more than one tournament. I e-mailed Randy yesterday about fishing this but got no reply, yet. He may be busy with something.

It was not on the web site. I called Randy and let him know. I suspect it is now there.

Hey flipit,

Heard they're going out of Russo's. After all, it's the best facility on the delta. If it goes out of Ladd's, I'm not going to fish. Too far of a boat drive to Hackney's and Ike's water at Union Point. Heaven forbid I fish Crew's water too! ahahahahah. Is it April fools yet?
