it REALLY shocks me to see that all these incredible big bass waters and the predicted BIG bass to win aren't happening. Sure a 9 plus at Clear Lake is impressive, but 3 and change, 6 and change and anothre 6 and change. Hmmm....makes the 10 plus at Casitas look pretty dang good!

Either way...good job on the winner of the DVL HBC!

Yeah too bad Casitas will never see the HBC Again. They will never see a lot of organizations there again.

that is very true! I just wonder how long that Casitas record will hold up. if DFG gets shut down on trout plants a LOT of lakes will not have the numbers of bigguns anymore!

John Wick wins with 6.13lbs. Loads of 5's caught and a ton of 4's. Lake has always been tuff for big ones on Derby day. Plus much better chance with 2 rods in the water, which was not the case for HBC. That is why I kept my guess below 7lbs. Still should be fun this weekend. Congrats John. Rick G.

Of course I'm sure MR. KRAMER is going to try to take all the credit, seeing how he very recently showcased John!

That's why it was a bit slow when you went out with him the other day. He was saving them for today.
