I just used the last of a certain color of senko that were given to me. It's a dark chocolate brown - I call it my tootsie roll bait. Of all the senkos I've tried, this color, by a landslide, outcatches the others I've tried. Anybody know what the color code or name is? The next time I reload w/ Cabelas, I'd like to make sure I order the right color. I've got some in a dark green/motor oil color that I've tried when the brown is working to see if it's the action and not the color, but the bass want nothing to do with the green, so it must be the color.
By the way, what is it with the senko, anyway? If not for all the talk about it on forums like these, if I were in a bait shop and I looked at a bag of 'em, I'd pass right on by. But damn, they work. I've only had success using 'em wacky style. What other rigging styles and/or retrieves are people finding that work?

Sounds like either a watermelon, black or the smoke rootbeer colors. You can go to the site and match up the color

I usually Texas rig mine and have had a ton of success that way. I also have carolina rigged, split shotted them and put them on a small dart head as well with success.
