I am throwing it on a Dobyn's 735C. You will love that rod for small swim baits/wake baits, flipping, and frogging. It is one of my favorite rods

Loomis 906 crank stick. Its got a good tip for when they suck it down on the second crank of a bomber cast. Any rod that is over 7 ft and has a good tip will work. Fish it like a big jitterbug

I am throwing it on Power Pro braid 65lb when they hit it hang on! the hook up ratio on the Shell Cracker is 100% for me so far with braid and a Dobyn's 735C
