The Sonora Bass Anglers Club is hosting.....

2nd Annual Open Team Tournament
May 1st, 2010
New Melones Reservioir (check in is at Glory Hole Sports 5am)
$75 entry
$25 big fish

YES-- you can sign up and pay at the check in on the morning of the event.

Fishing at New Melones has been very good this year!
Most tournaments have 70%+ weighing in limits.
In January, this 7.56 spot was caught and released back...


Just a few weeks ago, this 18.11 LM was caught and released back...


YOU COULD BE NEXT TO HOOK ONE OF 'EM....or maybe bigger!!

I don't know how many boats are signed up yet.

YES you CAN sign up and pay the morning of the event.

REMEMBER that check in is at 5am. If we have a bunch of boats there early, we'll likely start check in early too.

This tournament is a lot of fun with a big raffle..See everyone in the morning. Bite slowed down today, but should pick up tomorrow. Fish are right in the middle of the spawn Water was 58 this morning ( well 8 o'clock). It was 65 on Monday.
Should be full limits for all!

i wanted to fish with you guys today cuz i was headed to melones reguargless...but my buddy and me were to lazy to wake up at 3 in the morning...and we were afriad of getting embarassed. Anyhow, what and who won the tourney?

We had 25 teams show up for the event and it seemed everyone had a great time. Several anglers won nice prizes in the raffle after the event. Here are the top 10 teams.
