744c or 784c ml Dobyns, braid main line with 10lb Fc leader....either Diawa 7.3:1 or revo 7.0:1 reels.

Since you asked this question, I think I need to build a swim jig rod.
For ~1/4-3/8 swim jigs.
Shikari 7'2", 3 power, Moderate action, custom turned EVA grip and micro guides. Hot pink and metallic blue wraps.
