I fish Oro with my bro every year the 3rd week of April. We normally can boat 50-80 spots a day with a couple of different techniques but size is hard to come by. Three questions:
Will this storm Tues-Wed slow things down for the weekend?
What to try to get away from the small spotted bass?
Where are the best places to eat at night?
Any insight appreciated.
Patrick

I can tell you that smallie beavers in watermelon red around incoming water in the middle will get you to the 50 fish mark. Most will be slot fish, but some of the bigger fish I caught yesterday were hanging off the edges in 20' of water. It is a serious mush bite, the dinks are smacking the baits, but the bigger fish are just picking up the baits and sitting with them. I saw some fish on beds in a few of the usual spots, but they were either spooked or not interested in playing. As far as places to eat, someone else will have to speak up. Good luck... Mark
