Thats what I thought, ESPN headlines said " Skeet Reese tops 25 pounds to rally from a 5-pound deficit and win his second consecutive Elite event, the Synergy Southern Challenge." I think they meant second elite win.

And don't forget ....

He is doing it with $89 rods .....

Think about that before you break out 2 hundy on a rod that you swear will put fish in your buggy....

With a mere 2 ozs more on the Delta, he would have won 3 of the 5 events. Amazing!

I saw the lamiglass on the Delta show too most anglers have -other -rods and plugs, besides sponsored products..the footage showed proves he is getting it DONE with the $89 noodle rods, I still havent understood the move to Wright and McGill But thats Skeet and he is not just on fire he is dropping H bombs he has a clean game looks relaxed and just pure fishing each day .

N.A.R.

I was just pointing out that he has other makes / types of rods that he fishes with that are not $89 bucks.

Most people with sponsores also have other brands of gear that they use. They just do not talk about it and they try not to let it get on film.

The post season shootout will be for 2 place, Skeet could have it wrapped up before it's said and done.

I had the luxury of fishing Clarks Hill (qualified for a BFL Regional), missed qualifying for the BFL All-American championship by 1 fish. Phenominal Lake! Skeet is on FIRE and I think he's pretty much "sealed the deal" for the AoY!

Going back a few years to the Top Forty California Bass Pro's List I do recall something like "Do you want the dancing Reese or the one that can catch fish (Jimmy)"

Looks like you motivated him pretty good George!!!!

I think Skeet finds motivation from a lot of places. He's a shark and I'm glad I'm not wading the flats...

Read where Skeet could finish dead last in the next three tournys, while the 2nd place guy won all three, and Skeet would still have a 50 point lead.
