Coyote @ Night

Post by Fishin Andy »

It's startin to warm up an gettin to be that time where the lake isn't covered with jet skiers and wake boarders....question though can you legally launch a tube or kickboat in coyote at night?

Andy, boating hours are from 8:00AM to 30 mins before sunset. No boats are allowed outside of this time.

I know it sucks, I would love to be able to night fish from a boat.

You can shore fish all night though!

Yea i knew about the shore access but walking the bank just plain sucks...is there a ranger that sits at the station all night or one that patrols the lake/campgrounds?

I heard of some people that use to sneak in at night with tubes, but I would not try that anymore. With the mussel inspections if you are to get caught at night right now, I would suspect that you do some jail time. They don;t even let you keep your boat in the water any more if you are camping there.

Yeah the Santa Clara County lake knotzis suck royaly. My pb is from Coyote but i hardly even fish the lakes round here. Can't get on the water till after 8 am. At times u gotta make an apointment at Anderson to launch... list goes on and on. If headn out in the boat, pretty much headed to the Delta. 3 good lakes all within 15 min of my house and would rather drive the 2hours to the delta than put up with the headache
