rod cover reviews

Post by B Becker »

Is there any difference between the Stick Jackets and the Rod Slix? They look almost the same but are different companies. Just wondering if anyone has seen the Slix. I have seen the Jackets and they are pretty cool. Just wanted a pro or con list. Thanks

Its all about the Trojan Magnums for me...

I haven't used both, but the Stick Jackets work great, easy on and off, everything just as advertised. My brother gave me 4 of them to try out, I ended up ordering them for all my rods.
Tackle Warehouse has them, good investment to protect your rods.

Before you get any check out www.berserkbaits.com the rod sleeves have an option of a tip protector up to 12". There is a rod sleeve for casting and spinning rods. Lifetime warranty I have em on all my rods and saved quite a few tips or guides, guiding on the lakes.

I like McCoy's Rod Shields. They're like stick jackets, but don't have that floppy tab at the top. They're closed off by a rubber nipple. The link I'm providing is to the casting rod version, but they have them for spinning rods too. Check them out:
