Going to Camanche Any help?

Post by procraftrob »

Going to Camanche on the 19th. Just found out that boats from san benito county are allowed on the lake again. Haven't been there in a couple years due to that ban (which is dumb). Anyways just wondering what the bite is like and where the water level is? Is it still super expensive to fish there?

Thanks

If its calm first thing in the morning try a black/red buzz bait, fluke in pearl or white around the dam and hat island. Senko in green pumpkin/black flake on carolina rig as the day moves on.

Good Luck!

Some sort of light color worm either dropshot or darthead. And my boater caught some on red leaches/worms w/ a carolina rig. If I remember correctly it is pretty clear water. This info is from a few months ago but should still do ok. If not I apologize but I hate when someone asks for advice and never gets any so thats why I at least wrote something. Good luck.

Try Wright Baits 4" 101b or 101p on a drop shot or a Berserk 1/2 oz. purple hornet jig from 0-20 feet on rock piles and island tops in the main lake. Good Fishing!
