I was out today 4/26 and first thing I land a 25.5# striper on a spook in franks. Thought it was random but saw 2 more explosions in Franks. I was fishing for blacks and this striper was my pb. Later in the day my buddy is bragging to another boat and they say they caught 30# striper. Pulled her out of the live well and showed us. Too bad. I released mine to fight another day wish they had, although they were live bait fishing and its was bleeding from the gills so probably didn't have a choice. Looks like they are still around. Mine was so fat. Must be a native

Sounds like one of those heart pumping moments. Good on you for the release, can't see why some people keep the big mommas.

Nice Curtis !
I lost my heater core in my truck on the ride home today - Got an appointment to get it repaired and hopefully I will be back on the water Thurs and Friday morning.
Played with the sliding doubble Fluke's again in 6" and this time... Only I put some nail weights into them that I saw on another post. You can do no wrong in the early morning bite !

You know, we always called each other goodfellas. Like, you'd say to somebody: "You're gonna like this guy; he's all right. He's a goodfella. He's one of us." You understand? We were goodfellas, wiseguys.
