Bass Bucket List
Bass Bucket List
I'm from Louisiana, I've been in this beautiful state for 4 years and have fished some of its awesome lakes and reservoirs. What are your top 5 bass destinations globally?
5. Lake Biwa, Japan
4. Lake Amistad, TX
3. Lake Okechobee, FL
2. Lake Baccarac, Mexico
1. Toledo Bend, TX/LA
I left out Clear Lake as I'm hoping to get a guide out there for my next birthday.

Re: Bass Bucket List
That's a sweet list, and yes Clear Lake needs to be on there atleast 2-3 times....lol
Don't forget about the California Delta, theres a reason BASS and FLW come out here........

Fished clear lake 5 or 7 times it always kicks my a$$.
Fished world class smallie lakes and wacked LM to 8# .
Fished world class spot lakes and had many 20- 50 fish days with no fish over 2#.
Recently had a day with the wife and two kids drank a few beers dropshoted a few keeper (11") spots got a sunburn and had fish and potatoes for breakfast .
Not sure if I need more than that.

Lake Eerie - Smallie Fishing
Lake Ocochobee - Cuase I like the color
Louisana Delta - So that I can say that my Delta is better then thiers
Amistad - To show them pictures of what a real bass looks like
Amazon River - Cause I want to die by topwater explosions!

Don't knock it til you've been there, Ash. Cypress trees, gators, and expansive water to explore. Maybe if I ever move back, I'll invite you for a tour and rip some lips.

Re: Bass Bucket List
I've fished all the bass lakes I want. I'll take the Lake Of The Woods, MN

Re: Bass Bucket List
Clear Lake anytime I can go is still tops for me
Falcon Lake in Texas
Champlain for Smallies
Guntersville
Moses Lake in WA as I get to MC a tournament up there every year but have never fished it and it has some stud fish in it.

+1 The Bass Slam is a must.
Re: Bass Bucket List
Okeechobee, is overrated, at best a winter lake to get bit when it's cold elsewhere and it is a shiner lake, slow fishing with artificial baits..so many other lakes to catch em'.
the best way to catch a big one is don't lose um sharp hooks set drag retie!
Re: Bass Bucket List
Great choices. I would throw a Cal. Delta stop in there and the Washington State stop could be opened to anywhere in that area. Those waters are awesome and the towns even better.kb wrote:Clear Lake anytime I can go is still tops for me
