Not asking anyone to give up there spots, just some advice, trying to learn. Started fishing about three years ago. Fish touraments like this because it's fun and the cost is low. The lake kicked our butts the other night. Nice weights for all those who weigh in. Just wanted to know what fish were biting on and if they were deep or shallow.

Well for starters Scott......stop dragging brush hogs all night! LOL I should talk.....didn't weigh in either! Nice turnout and had a decent time. I sure wish guys would have their nav. lights on when they are fishing away from the shoreline! Dang near ran into one who was way off the shoreline! Thanks Robert...again!

dont feel bad, i got my ars kicked that night also..went to the spot where i have been getting the "BIG ONES" @ night, and there were boats all over it(my own fault because i always help people out who ask)...finally got the spot after a boat fished it for an hour, i pull up and after about 20 minutes, the "BIG ONE" bit....she never jumped or nothing, but came off about half way to the boat....we ended up wabout 10 1/2 for "3" fish.....to answer u'r question, i "ALWAYS" throw a baby b/hog in junebug/red on a 1/4 darter head..when the "BIG ONES" decide to bite, it is usually on a 7" black/blue senko fished "s-l-o-w-w-w-w-w-w-"..... the top water bite is "awesome" @ times and "horrible" the rest..... i will be on the water a couple nights this week, let me know if u'r comin up. and we'll hook up........ manzo

Robert....you know there are no secrets on Pedro! LOL Funny thing.....prior to launch I heard people a few people talking about where you been getting your fish. Now I'm wondering if those were the guys I dang near ran into with their lights off! Oh and don't feel bad. I was running up a bank to get to a spot we've been doing pretty well on and all of a sudden a boat pulls up on "our" point within 100 ft. of us and sat there for hours. The only problem I had with that is they saw me working that way. I know who it was and will gladly pay him back soon. .-)

Don't tell him that! He's won 3 tourney's in a row! Time for him to cool off and let some of us "underprivileged" anglers have a chance. :-)
