dont feel bad, i got my ars kicked that night also..went to the spot where i have been getting the "BIG ONES" @ night, and there were boats all over it(my own fault because i always help people out who ask)...finally got the spot after a boat fished it for an hour, i pull up and after about 20 minutes, the "BIG ONE" bit....she never jumped or nothing, but came off about half way to the boat....we ended up wabout 10 1/2 for "3" fish.....to answer u'r question, i "ALWAYS" throw a baby b/hog in junebug/red on a 1/4 darter head..when the "BIG ONES" decide to bite, it is usually on a 7" black/blue senko fished "s-l-o-w-w-w-w-w-w-"..... the top water bite is "awesome" @ times and "horrible" the rest..... i will be on the water a couple nights this week, let me know if u'r comin up. and we'll hook up........ manzoskindog wrote:Not asking anyone to give up there spots, just some advice, trying to learn.
