thoughts on the goods and bads of this motor....its a 91....thx

Sure, I just blew one up!

But seriously, it's a strong motor with the smaller lower unit which makes the boat (mine anyway) ride real smooth. But you are limited on the number of props to hang on it. Bring it to Boatmasters or a reputable dealer to check the oil lines, compression etc before you put it in the water. And remember it's around 20 years old. If they are asking more than 2,300 I wouldn’t do it.

I since put a 2010 Opti on my rig and now I don't have to worry about anything for 5 years and that is priceless.
