Posting reports

Post by Chris »

With the 100% tourney @ McClure on Sunday with around 80 boats and about 70 limits, no one posted a report?? What's up with that? I was there fishin and thought I'd see what I was doing wrong when some people posted reports later in the week, wrong!! I admit I don't report every time out but, when I can help someone learn something, I'm all about it. We're not askin for specific spots or specific lures on here, but general information can be very helpful to us Delta rats not used to clear water. Just a thought that we can help teach others on here too. Thanks Chris.

Good Luck with posts on Mother Load lakes. It has been like that for a while now.

Don.
P.S. I have not fished Mc Clure for a while.

Try getting a report here in SoCal! You learn to take what you can get. There are a multitude of reasons why reports do/don't get posted but don't get mad....get even! Post as much as you can and lead the way. If you have questions ....try the forum and maybe someone will set you up. Sometimes when I feel another anglers pain I will send them a P.M. ....This allows me to get into specifics without feeling that I just shot myself in the foot in regaurds to ...my water,my lake,My pattern, etc. I post when I have something worthwhile but the main reason you don't see my reports is...... I haven't been fishing  Keep a tight line.

Ha Chris,

We fished 100% on Sunday and had 5 for 10.37.We ended up in 44th.We caught are fish on dropshot in 30-50 ft. of water on points and creek channels on robo worms. Are bigger fishs came on spider jigs 1/2 oz. worked fast hopping them on the bottom from the bank to 20 ft.Most of the guys I heard caught them on Jigs,Dropshot,Darter heads and a couple of good limits came on spooks.Hope it Helps....

Hey Chris.
Did you pre-fish? If so how did that go? If you did not, what kind of home work did you do? Most of the times reports are not a winning pattern.

Yes it was pre-fish and we only boated 2 bass and 1 was a nice keeper on a dropshot leech, although things can change as quickly as they develop. I'm totally green to tourney fishing, I'm joining San Joaquin team bass and fishing my first tournament ever @ McClure on the 21st. Only been to McClure once Sunday and once the week before last, so it can be tough learning new water. Especially when I fish 95% of my time on the delta due to the convenience of living in Stockton. Thanks for the updated report I'm sure that will give me a starting point. Any other tips are greatly appreciated as well as tips for a new tourney fisher. thanks again.
