I caught my personal best fish in the delta this Saturday, it was 8.22 lbs. during a club tournament. She wouldn't budge at first but since I had 65 lb braid I was able to horse her in. My boater's net was hardly even big enough to bring her in the boat. Once we got her in we noticed a huge lump on her lip. We thought it was internal organs at first, but it was an odd sore. Overall my boater and I had a good weekend. Here's the link to the picture in the albums.
Awesome Job Nick! All of us at Gilroy Bassmasters are glad you caught your personal best and that you and your Dad had a great time at your first event with us. See you both at the next meeting!
Best Regards,
Zak

Great job Nick. I'm glad you and your Dad joined the club. It's great to see a young man with with a passion for fishing like you do. By the way, we forgot to tell you, there is a tradition with our club that we forgot to tell you. Who ever wins big fish get their head shaved at the next meeting. Ill be bringing my clippers.....Scott Povio
