7 Boats! Looks like the city managers should have given Tom Leogrande another chance to quick fix the permit issue for the CBC fishoff. Big mistake on their part it looks like. Has to be a carrot on the stick to get anyone to drive up there IMO. Rick G.

When that lake is on, it's all the carrot you need. Would have loved to have been there, but the ecomony wouldn't allow it.

There are plenty of bigger lakes downhere that are "on" most of the time. BBL is kinda like Silverwood, gonna have its locals who will support it, but it will never draw a crowd due to the distance and climate hassles. Rick G.

I really wanted to fish this with my daughter but we just spent time at home (or should I say she played with her friends  ). I was up that way the weekend before with the wife for our anniversary but didn't fish, just walked around spending some money  but the weather was great and seen some bass while walking the shore near the cut off area. Maybe next time if it works out!! This is one of those lakes where it could be down right brutal and also down right fun to fish, looks like the brutal won this time.

i fished it the weekend before with 300 boats flying around. caught 1 keeper about a pound and a half and caught probly 15 dinks on blades and worms. and i mean DINKS! 6 to 8 inchers. tough stuff.

On a side note went to Lake San Antonio this weekend and caught 1 catfish the first day on a jerkbait and 4 1lbers on the second day.5 and a half hour drive for that. lol. had to go to puddingstone today to slay um so i could feel better
