Battery restoration claim results

Post by Homer »

Just last week I met up with John and asked him about his offer to bring back to life drained, worn out batteries. Little did he know that I had a battery that would truly test his claims of restoring neglected batteries. When I spoke with John, I told him of an old Trojan SCS 200 that was bought 5-2003 and taken out of service 9-2006. I left this battery in my storage container for the last 4 years completely neglected. Needless to say that when John hooked it up to his tester, the battery barely registered any voltage at all. The battery still had water in it but not topped off. I wasn’t expecting much help for this 65lb. paper weight but John wanted to give it a try anyway. I also gave him an Everstart battery that I purchased in 2006 and had sitting idle since earlier this year. 5 days went by and John called to ask if he could swing by the house and drop off the batteries. 20 minutes later he pulls up and we unload the batteries from his car. John has this big grin on his face as he tells me that he was able to not only restore the Everstart battery to like new function, but he was able to resurrect the dead and buried Trojan battery. He hooks up his tester and shows me that the Trojan is now putting out 12+ volts. He then puts a load on the battery that replicates cranking over a boat motor. He does this three times, and the tester shows the battery jumping back each time. WOW !!!!! We then ran the same test on the Everstart battery with the same results. Amazing. John explained that his process gets rid of all the residue build up in the batteries and they are as good as new. I will be testing the batteries under real world conditions shortly but I have no reason to doubt that they will perform as promised. John, it was a pleasure meeting you and I am truly impressed with the results that you demonstrated.

Thank you,
Mike Iljin
