humminbird side imaging question on a champion

i have a 2005 champion 187 with a 175 hp yamaha vmax. my question is what is the best location to mount a humminbird side imaging transducer? is it best to place it on the transom to the side of my jack plate or down lower on the cut out by my drain/aerator plugs? anyone out there with a champion who has done this please send me pics if available. i really dont want to drill holes unnecessarily.

I have a champion 198 and I am going to mount my Humminbird SI transducer on the jackplate",I recommend checking out the Bassboatcentral.com "boards" scroll down to Humminbird to see hundreds of installation photos & tips! also check out "sideimagingsoft.com" for tons of Humminbird SI info !......
