Yeah, No entry fee but how much did they take out of the pot from every tournament they held in every region?? Big big bucks they kept! How bout opening the books and letting the anglers know how much they withheld? They know exactly how much money they have for the toc purse, post it! Let us know.. Is 25th place going to get a check for $200 that does not even cover gas or are they getting $1000?? Please do tell. If aba already knows, why cant we know what we are fishing for ?

I don't remember TOCs ever being something that afforded huge, deep paybacks. Guys get better paybacks now overall all season long then they did back 15 years ago. It takes money to run these events and so on and it's gotta come from somewhere.

We always figured we were there to fish for and try to win at a TOC and grab a boat.

Maybe I'm just remembering wrong.

Even if so, why not call up the guys at the ABA and ask them about this stuff rather then smearing it all over a public forum. It just seems unfair to everyone when this stuff gets thrown out on the forum walls to kind of see what sticks.

It cracks me up that people think the guys running these tornaments and organizeing them should do it for free. They should get payed, and it does cost to run them so you can fish.

I dont know about you but I am going up there to fish for a brand new Ranger. If I dont win then one of the 25 consolation prizes will work just fine.

Don't worry if the payout is anything like the South event it won't really matter unless your in the top couple of spots and or get some option money.
