Brown and Boxer... AGAIN...!!!???

Post by Buzzbommer »

What a disappointment. How many times do we have to get slapped in the mug before we duck...? Not that Arnold was much better, but dang. :(
It's getting tough to live in this beautiful state...

I can hardly wait to see what "moonbeam" and Newsome have in store for us. My guess is higher taxes, less services and more social programs.

add to that Kamala Harris. This state has gone straight to hell. In 3 1/2 years when my youngest goes to college, I will leave this Godforsaken state. Look at the rest of this country, they managed to vote out the liberal garbage. It can't happen here with registered democrats outnumbering registered republicans 2-1. I officially give this state to treehuggin', Illegal alien lovin', drive business outa the state lovin', dope smokin', welfare recipient lovin', libtards. The collective majority of this state has no collective sense. I'm gonna puke now...

I voted Brown, Muldanato (sp) and Thompsen. The rest I voted 3rd party.

California is the best state and so much of our progressive ways spread through out the rest of the country it just takes them awhile to catch up.

Progressive un-American ways. Its the spread that worries those of us who care about our freedom. Californians are screwed.

So when someone tells you what you can and can't drive, what type of light bulbs and/or switches you must use, how much you must spend to "improve" your house before selling it to a willing buyer, when you can or can't light a fire in your stove, how much water you can use, how much you will have to spend to "upgrade" capital equipment you make your living with, how much of your income must be allocated to pay for the retirement of the wannabe dictator public employees running around as the enforcement arm of all of this, who will live better on retirement than many did while working for producing nothing consumable by humanity, etc........what do you call that? Empowering? A march towards liberty? Prosperity in the making?

We need to get all of the real producers of wealth OUT of this state and let it die on the vine by it's own poison.
The great non sequitur committed by defenders of the State, including classical Aristotelian and Thomist philosophers, is to leap from the necessity of society to the necessity of the State.

Vince, I couldn't agree more. Swank, that "progressive" deal is what is wrong with our state. But what kind of opinion would one expect from someone from trendy West L.A. with a screen name named after a porn mag. If your idea of progressive is MLPA, having the biggest energy users like ALGORE buying credits to offset his energy use so he can sleep at night, put a proposition up to legalize drugs, have the biggest welfare population in the nation, and vote in a past loser for governor (both his governer and mayor job performance get a D-) and a no death penalty, dreadful prosecution record Attorney General, and I can go on...then you can take your "progressive" and do "you know what with it." Maybe you should hang a poster of Ted Danson over your bed (you might have one there already), buy property in northern Canada so you don't burn up do to global warming, and join Al Sharpton and revel in his causes...

Enjoy yourself years from now, not being able to fish where you want in CA (thank you MLPA, you are just the beginning), and even then, if you can find somewhere legal in this state to fish, you will be in some kind of "sail/solar powered 7mph bass boat". It might be just sail powered because battery acid is toxic, and it will probably have the sails and lines fashioned from hemp (because we all know how wonderful hemp is), with the hull built from recycled plastic soda bottles from the decade before (that will be outlawed) and aluminum cans that were found in time capsules. Yes, I'm disgusted with people that think (if that's what you call it) like Swank. California, love it or leave it? I'll leave, you can bet on it, along with thousands of other hardworking, productive people that will take there families, talents, and money elsewhere. Scott E.

Good news - Brown is set to tap Gray Davis as consultant and advisor as Brown transitions into the Governor's position.

Awesome.

(PUKE)

Without question CA is an embarassment across the land.

We are running all of our illegals out to California so we have room for a few good conservatives here. Move your business over and we will make you feel right at home. I am looking forward to the day the House refuses to give any more bailout money and see how those liberals in leadership figure out how to pay all the bills. Newsome will advertise in the Phoenix paper that you are now a sanctuary state. LMAO.

Oh short sighted and forgetful Californians, remember the RECALL where gumby Gray was ousted? You judge a man by the company he keeps Governor Brown, and you have Gumby as your consultant/congratulatory spokes hole/introducer. Remember what Gumby Gray did to this state? Republicans do(democrats in California don't, because people don't think to well when they smoke too much dope and follow celebrities political views since they can't think for themselves cause they're too high). Yep, Charlie Sheen, Ted Danson, Sean Penn, Mr. Brown, Ms. Boxer, please do our thinking for us , please run our lives for us because we are too stupid to run our own (obviously the majority of voting Californians are too stupid). I'm puking with you!!!!!!!!!!

No? No!!! Take the fairly recent court decision supporting law students suit against the dfg for planting trout in bodies of water with a stupid red legged frog in it or nearby. No more trout plants in dozens of bodies of water in this state because the trout (which is a non native species in those bodies of water, just like many other species in this state that are non native) might consume the damn frogs. Thank you tree huggers for doing "more for our fisheries". Or the MLPA and closing of massive sections of our coast to fishing of any kind. Once again, thank you tree huggers for doing "more for our fisheries". Why don't you state an instance where treehuggers have done anything positive for our fisheries? Tree huggers also want to do "more for our fisheries" in the delta, wanting to eradicate the striped bass. You are talking out the whole in that your brain is obviously lodged. Scott E.

The tree huggers idea of protecting the fisheries is to keep you off of it, no?

If you ask any of the DFG biologists they will tell you doing impact studies is something they wanted to test for years ago

As for the MLPA I'm not well versed on what has transpired, but doesn't the issue surround land that belonged to
"Native" Americans?

Corporate Agriculture wanted to bypass the the state regulatory agencies by eradicating stripers. Maybe what you don't know is not all fisheries biologists play the same record and are often bias when their check clears.

I'm no environmentalist but have seen the liberals in this state do more for our fish and wildlife than any republican. Do these practices always match up with our own beliefs and not inconvenience us? no, but they are generally to protect what has already been raped and pillaged. Would you rather big business' build anywhere they please with no repercussions or have teams of field crews doing impact studies to help sustain what's left?
