Rago Baits joins USAC Inland Empire and Southern California Region.

Well known for his fishing prowess and legendary lure designs, Jerry Rago will be supporting the Anglers Choice Inland Empire and Southern California Regions for the 2011 season.

“I'm ecstatic to have the support of Jerry,” noted Anglers Choice Director Brian Linehan. “Rago Baits flat out catch big fish and many of the largest bass caught in our local waters have been caught on Jerry's handcrafted lures. They're obviously producing on the big ponds too with Byron Velvick and Skeet Reese recently winning tour events with his baits.”

Jerry Rago began making baits in the nineties and was actually inspired by a rat running across the road while driving home from the lake one day. After returning home, Jerry created his first rat and the rest is history. Thousands of baits later, Jerry is responsible for producing some of the most successful baits of all time. In addition, he's inspired bait makers from around the world with his cutting edge designs.

In support of the Anglers Choice Inland Empire and Southern California Region fishermen, Jerry Rago is generously offering an “Original Rat” awarded to the team who weighs in the smallest limit of the tournament. The team with the “rat” limit wins the Rago Rat! Winners must be present. If not, the team with the smallest limit present will take home the rat.

If that isn't amazing enough, Jerry will also be donating a unique and custom handcrafted swim bait to the angler who catches the overall largest bass of the year. This bait will be autographed and truly one of a kind!
