I only know a little about New-J-Bass club. They are a great group of Laos,Hmong (asian) guys who love to fish tournaments.I know they had 1 tournament that a friend of mine fished and he said it was well ran and had a good time and said he would fish one again.
They have not heard if they have even had anymore events.
So I dont know if they even got the club off the ground.

I will say if you are looking for a good bass club you should take a look at the Sierra Bass Club. They are located out of Clovis. They hold a meeting the first Tuesday of each month at Hometown Buffet in Clovis at 7pm.
They fish 1 tournament each month.
www.sierrabassclub.org
Check out the website. It has the schedule for 2011.
Let me know if you have any questions regarding the Sierra Club as I am a member.
Hope this helps,
Martin DeHaven

Kong Moua here...

New J bass club is a small club that has been in the making for about a year or two at the most. One of the original founder or the person that had the idea tried to start it up but failed and now the two guys running it, Micheal Her and LA Xiong took it where he left off and the club is growing every meeting.

We are non-affiliated with FLW or BASS... Membership fees are $70 a person. All tournaments are team tourneys..about $40 a team and $10 big fish. Right now we are at 12 tourneys for 2011 so one tourney a month. The purpose of this club was to create a learning experience for every member. One thing we as fisherman know is that you can never stop learning. We really tried to avoid the fact that a lot of anglers were here for the money..which they were..this was a solution to that problem. That is also the reason why the entry fees are low, we wanted to make this affordable for everyone. Pay outs go to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd..additional payouts after that for every 5th boat..In another attempt to avoid costs. All tourneys will be held in the VALLEY. So venues are at Millerton, Pine Flat, Eastman, Hensley, Kaweah, Bass Lake only...I believe. All tourneys are scheduled for saturday only..and sorry but there are no opens.

We meet on the first Thursday of the month every month. around 6pm (or as we joke 7 asian time)..i know the location but dont have an address for you..i can get that if you really want to. We meet at the Long Chien Restraunt (i believe) on Cedar and Kings Canyon..in front of the Fresno Fair Grounds. Members are welcome to pre oreder food dishes if they wish, donuts are usually served along with refreshments.

This is all I can think of right now atop of my head..if anyone is interested in learning more..let me know and i will lead you in the right direction..

first tournament is Millerton Lake the first Saturday of January..
