If you were attending the Classic....

Post by Gator »

and had a question to ask, of anyone attending, what would it be?

There is no prize for this, simply a sampling of ideas.

I should (99% sure) be attending the Classic and if all works out, will have press credentials.

So let me know your questions. If all goes as planned and I get to attend, I wil ask the best questions and answer them here. I will also be reporting on the daily activities that occur.

I would ask Greg Hackney this question....
If you could have 1 bait to use year round across the country what would it be and why?
1 follow up question...
What color would you use for that 1 bait across the country?

I'd ask Ray Scott what he was thinking when he sold BASS to ESPN.

If you were at last year's Bass-a-thon you'd know the answer...I think someone asked those very questions.....but seriously I'd ask Aaron Martens if he can finally get out of that 2nd place slump and finally win the Bassmaster Classic!

Actually it was lot of $$$$ when he sold BASS to Helen Sevier and company who then sold it ESPN....but I guess he did a 180 and is again part of the Wonderful World of Disney...look for Mickey and gang to be at the Classic this year!

I was at the Bassathon but I was at 2 different booths so I was unable to see much of any of the speakers. I was able to see Hackney for 15 min. and was also able to see the game played for the boat. I know many people who were able to see most all the speakers and also talk with Forrest Wood. I was behind a table selling product for a couple of my sponsors and speaking to many people from this forum.

PS: I received my B.S. Federation form letter from him today. Now I don't need to run out and buy toilet paper.
