I'm in for Shasta and Roosey then I'll re-evaluate my situation and make a decision as to what is good for my family and I.

Good to know there's a Co list for Shasta as I decided to fish the event just this morning.

I'd like to see 150+ but thats being optimistic. 120-130 being realistic.

I, too, am fishing the Central Opens this year and I'm seeing more and more former "FLW Series" anglers taking the same route. It'll be fun watching all our Cali anglers fish back east at different levels. Good luck to all!

Is the payout any better for the BASS Opens than the FLW Everstarts? Or, are you guys trying for a shot at the Elite Series?

Good luck back there. With three tournaments, I might have to give that a shot next year.

Winning a open gives you a classic berth

I thought about fishing the BASS Opens last year but there were too many overlaps. I missed the boat this year. Good luck to you guys and here's to wishing the come back west next year....or, maybe have to follow you guys out there.

I would love to fish FLW and BASS and leave the weekend stuff a lone.

Reading bassfan this morning, I was shocked to see the amount of anglers fishing the flw tour compared to other states.

I hope flw takes care of these anglers with their employment /sponsorship deals they got

I'm locked in for them all..
After talking to Chris Hoover the other day he said that there are a lil over 100 Pro's signed up but he expects plenty more.. "Especially because of the reduced entry fee"
Also there is a "DMV" line (I made that up) of Co-Anglers.. One of my friends is #22 on the Co-Angler waiting list but he didn't sign up for them all so that is why he is down so low..
AMATEURS work until they get it RIGHT..
PROFESSIONALS WORK until they CAN'T get it Wrong..

Ricky,

The payout is better with Bassmaster from 2nd place down to about 26th based upon full fields in both, that would be 150 flw, 200 bassmaster. 1st place is better with flw with the Ranger contingency prize should you be a qualified Ranger owner. Bassmaster has a better payback but does not pay back with as high of a percentage. You do fish against more anglers in BASS but most of the time now I don't even consider the number of anglers an issue. Both circuits have low entry fees and corresponding paybacks, but a win on either circuit puts money in the bank. I think I just wanted to travel and fish different water. CZ and I will have to go get a beer if we get our confirmations for the Central.

Hollywood... I didn't know about the Classic birth for a win. Sounds like a huge bonus to me. I thought it was only AOY.

Every Pro Open winner qualifies for the Classic. Seems like a priceless addition to the winners purse.
Fishing should be fun.

Be certain that "value" will attract every Elite Series boater to the Opens. Kind of takes away the "joes" chances to cash. Good Luck Clayton and Kevin. Actually good luck to ALL of you guys stepping up and away from the team circuits. Hope we can get a good batch of newbies to replace you and keep moving up the competition. The West will take over the world.
