NUTCASE AT BULLARD'S BAR...............

Post by Basslab »

Just wondering if there will be a sign up for the Bullard's Bar Nutcase and maybe reinforming others of the date and launch site. This will be my first so I am curious as to how many will be there and insure we have enough boats or boaters.
Thanks.

The ISE show is going 4 days. There are events every weekend from now through the end of the month. The only way I would end up at the ISE is if Im up that way.

The 22nd works better for me. Still not sure if I can that weekend off but I know I can't get the following weekend off.

The parts for the wife should be in mid-next week. So hopefully, I can get up the day or so before and get them installed so I don't have to fish all day on the TM

Let's get the date confirmed on this one boys! The longer we wait to step up and confirm, the more likely we're going to pass on it due to lack of participation! Bullards' is an awesome lil fishery, one that many angler's fish and keep to themselves, let's lock it in and go have some fun with them big spots on this lightly pressured pond in the foothills!!!!!!!!!!!!

As always, I'll bring a stove and bbq, tables and ez-ups, plates, forks/knifes/spoons and some sausages and buns and such.

I'm on for the 22nd but don't want to get penalized for fishing from Moduno's boat again, hahaha.

I will post more details after booking it as, depending on which one I get, will have both room for RVs and tent camping for those interested.

Prolly will get it for Friday and Saturday nights... my add Thursday depending how scheduling works out for me getting out of town and then getting the wife fixed.

The date is the 22nd. Thats what we agreed on in the beginning. It was also the only weekend that there is not a Pro/Am event going on in January. Hopefully I can make it. The job market really sucks!

I'll bring a pot of Jambalaya, just need some time on Tony's stove to warm it up.

Long range forecast shows several warm sunny days in a row.

Now where did I put those football head jigs....

Would somebody please say a time and place to meet next Saturday? We are drawing for partners correct? And how many sessions are we going to fish?

I just put some new string on my reels and found my jigs and worms. Looking forward to this, been way too long since I went fishin'!

Id propose 7am. Draw and sessions will be determined at the ramp. Last time we had very few non boaters so we just did one session.

How many boaters are coming?

Trying to decide where to launch.......maybe this will help. In the winter they bring a lot of the houseboats out of the water and park them at the top of the launch, in the parking lot. That severly limits the space to park as you may be able to park 10-12 trucks with trailers down on the ramp. Driving 3 more miles up the road to Dark Day launch will provide adequate parking for over 100 trailers, if needed, along with ample room for weigh-in and popup tents or whatever. Just my .02 cents. Either way, I'm ready to go.
