I’m going to hate to see Tony leave – he has helped sponsor the Club Classic each time I have asked him with this Web Site – thanks for all the help. I know your next endeavor will be successful as Western Bass has been. Good Luck. Now let go fishing!

Wayne, congratulations on your new ownership of Western Bass, I hope you have all the success that you are looking for – Western Bass is one the best Bass fishing web site in the country.

Congratulations Wayne and Tony. I'm sure this is good for both of you.

Wayne,

My name is Ken Sauret. I am sponsored by Lowrance and monitor the Lowrance Product Forum on here. Glad to hear that you were with Lowrance before. I wouldn't have this opportunity if it weren't for you guys who set the groundwork for those who follow you. PM me if there are any questions for me or anything you need to know.

I think you guys might be able to tell, with the new design and approach from Wayne Wasuko and his crew, that my last decision for WesternBass.Com was likely my best. I wish Wayne all the best for the future of the site.

As for me, Wow, where do I start. I was blessed to be given the opportunity to take over this long-titled bass fishing site in 1998 from Robert Taylor. It went from the url I can't even come close to remembering to NCBF.COM and then, thanks to David Cole, to WesternBass.Com.

During the past 14 years, I've been fortunate to work with and for some marvelous organizations. 5 years with the California B.A.S.S. Federation, working as regional director and tournament director, state tournament director and leaving as President. 4 great years working as the state coordinator for C.A.S.T for Kids on projects up and down the state of California. 2 years as managing editor of Bass West USA magazine. I've spent many, many days assisting at tournaments for many orgs in just about every capacity possible including; FLW, B.A.S.S., Christian Bass Anglers, American Bass, Angler Choice, 100% Bass, West Coast Bass, Won Bass, Western Bass, New Bass, National Bass West. This year will be my 13th year assisting with, the C.O. Pro Teen Classic. I've filmed over a hundred videos and created as many or more audio shows since starting all that up in 2004 on the site.

As for my future; I won't be far off. I'll still be doing some work with the website, now and down the road. I'll also be filming more bass videos for the internet and cable, as well as other video projects. I am still working with Randy & Sheri Pringle and the Berkley Western Rookie League for all Northern and Delta/Wine regional tournaments as well as the TOC. The Recreational Fishing League will eventually get started, although the spring might be optimistic at this point. We'll see how that goes. I'll also continue to work on building systems like the Bass Oasis and other projects designed to address fish care and handling at tournaments.

Of course, after a brief cruise to Mexico with my wife and one of our kids, I'll be ready to take on new projects and who knows where I'll land.

My sincere thanks to all, It's been a wonderful journey!

:D :) :o Alvin oops I mean Wayne. Congratulations for buying WB. Do you remember back in the day when someone called you that. So you don't think too hard. It is me, Bev Payne. Don hasn't been fishing a lot and it is all my fault. This past year I was in and out of the hospital a total of 75 days. I have control of things (I hope) now. Hope you and your family are doing well. Good luck with your new venture. Take care  Bev
