USAC Clear Lake, Summer Nights Schedule.....

Post by Terry G. »

:D
After considerable thought to safety and courtesy I've decided that the Redbud launch area is the best choice for the Clear Lake night series. Plenty of light, wide ramps, and no motel guest to disturb. This in no way reflects Konocti Vista Casino's treatment of A/C Team events. They are always courteous and accommodating to our needs; furthermore, Clear Lake Outdoors is definitely the go to Tackle Shop on the North side, and that's why the A/C Team events will continue to sign up and launch from the north.

There weren't a tremendous amount of dates available so I picked dates that I thought would work best without piling on some orgs Saturday or Sunday tournaments. We have some Fridays, Saturdays and a Sunday. I think it will work out fine. note* I realize May 27th does not fall under the 6 hour rule; however, it falls under the I can still make it for blast off after work rule without having to take extra time off work rule. I want the times to remain as consistent as possible.

SCHEDULE: $295.00 all in.

May 27, 2011 (6p.m. to midnight) Friday
July 09, 2011 (6p.m. to midnight) July 9/10 is a sat/sun event
July 10, 2011 (1a.m. to 7a.m.) (gas saving weekend of fun)
Aug 05, 2011 (6p.m. to midnight) Friday
Aug 27, 2011 (6p.m. to midnight) Saturday
Sept 03, 2011 (6p.m. to midnight) Saturday

You must fish all 6 for AOY consideration.
You must fish 5 for entry into the TOC
I realize the last three tournaments are fairly close to each other. That's it why I have best of 5. If $'s get a little tight you can skip a tournament and still qualify for the TOC October.

Reminder to those who would like to start later in the evening. In the summer you can't run a tournament more then 6 hours and the permit requires the tournament to be held on one day. That's why you can't start at 9p.m and end at 3a.m.[/i]

There are additional safety rules which will be available on the A/C website. Pretty standard stuff; but, will be strictly enforced.

Off limits will be standard and pre fishing must be completed by 3p.m. the day of the event. Sign up information will be forthcoming. Also, if any issues arise regarding anyone's need to fish a southern TOC prior to our circuits completion get with me. I have the solution.

Thank you all for your patience. I did not want to publish the schedule until I had permits in hand.
