ABA Perris This coming Saturday March 5th

Well Guys its that time of year again for Perris. If you remeber this time last year we had a 42 pound limit brought in during a tournament. With The first week of good weather in some time this week before the next storm comes in next week the fishing is going to be great. Come out to Lake perris and catch some of these Lake Perris Pre spawn and Spawning Giants. I would not be amazed to see a 12+ pounder come to the scales. I will be there at 4 am to start sign ups and should be blasting off around 6am.

Hope to see everyone form the last two tournaments along with some of you that have not fished Lake Perris this Year

How many boats have signed up for this week end, if you don't have at least 10 boats (DUE TO THIS YEARS NEW RULE ON TRAVLERS I"M NOT GETTING OUT OF MY WARM BED) I know of a lot of guys not fishing the ABA tournaments due to this rule, say what you may, but its costing you a lot of entries.

Actually Bills perris region has drawn "decent" this year. He usually has somewhere between 15-17 boats per event.. Its not great but its okay..

Brian .. February is the WORST month for Perris.. You should know that ... The Fishing in Feb is notoriously the toughest month to fish that lake.
You should have tournaments there in Oct, Nove Dec or January or in March April or May....But NOT FEB you silly rabbit..

I'm not kosher with running 10 boat derbies anymore. lol. It's all about DVL. That's where the anglers want to fish. Until Perris draws more than DVL, you won't see USAC visiting anymore.

Pete can't say I agree with you on that one. Look up the previous years results on the ABA website. Big ones start to fatten up in Feb.. This year we just haven't had the right conditions on tourney days.

We have a fishingman a back seater that needs a ride if someone needs a partner. His partner can't fish this weekend and he wants to fish. Courtney Mims is his name and been around the block he knows how to fish.Iwon't talk bad about him because I have fished with him and against him.

I can vouch for Courtney.. he is good people and a HELL of a stick.

Ive known him for many years as Pat, Bill Jr, and Bill Sr. already know from the days in the club...

Like i said, Courtney can flat out put fish in the boat and If I wasnt fishing these ABA events at perris with my wife Id quickly swoop my boy Courtney up and have him fish with me... He catches fish and is a nice easy going guy as well.

I hope someone hooks him up..
