WON Bass Havasu Pro Am
WON Bass Havasu Pro Am
It's been 3 years since I fished Havasu. No reason other than life getting in the way. The last time I was there it took 28 to maybe 30 pounds to win a two day event. This fishery has improved so much that it took over 40 pounds to win. I'm thinking I will go back and fish the team circuit next year. It sounded like 4 events at Havasu and 3 at Martinez. How's that for a good time. And now with the new director for that region, a good friend and a great guy Clint Goodwin it will be a lot of fun. Clint is a little shy so we will have to work hard on getting him to open up a talk a little more.
I had a great time with my Triple A's Chad Aman and Steve "Big Bird" Watte. You guys were fun to fish with I wish I could have done better for you. Great job fellow Dobyns staffer Kevin Stewart on your first time to Havasu.

Re: WON Bass Havasu Pro Am
It's hard to compete with the guys that are out there a lot when you've been away for awhile, but you'll be getting those big limits too if you get out there more. All the desert lakes, and especially Havasu, seem to be going through a good cycle the last few years, and hopefully it just continues.
I know you are busy with your own great Top Stick tournaments, your business, and fishing and supporting just about every team circuit and TD out there, but thanks for coming out and for posting about it too.

John Galbraith did a great job and per my conversations with him, loved the job but needed to step aside to conccetrate on his growing business. Clint is a great guy and I am sure he is going to do the trail proud.

Re: WON Bass Havasu Pro Am
We at Won are very excited to work with Clint Goodwin, and look forward to a growing year in 2012 with him. He is a stand up guy and has bass fishing and the angler’s interests in mind. He will do a great job in replacing one of the best Won Bass TD's, we have had the pleasure of working with in recent years. John Galbraith has done a fabulous job for Won Bass and we could not thank him enough for the effort and time he has devoted to the Havasu region and the Won Bass Pro/Am’s. John will still be involved helping Clint throughout the season, and will always have Won Bass blood pumping threw his veins. John has decided to focus on his growing business, and we wish him nothing but positive growth. If you have not had a chance to stop by his store, your missing the next best thing to BPS in Havasu.

John (Foooo) did work his arse off, way more hours involved than most know. SO HUGH THANK YOU TO MY FOOOOO
BUDDY.
I will say this, hope I don't offend anyone but all the bs about this or than can stop right now as the VP of team
no BS takes over the throne . Clint is a bass fisherman for fisherman and fishermen's rights. We will have a fun
circuit again. We might even throw that foooo a party around this time next year after he retires from 20 years
on the PD.
Brian and Kevin Linehan are 1st class friends of ours forever, just like my boy Rick G.
