Lake Hodges

Does anyone know what the conditions at Lake Hodges are like. I've never been and am thinking about going tomorrow for some fun fishing with my father in law. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

SUCKS pretty bad. Tuff to get a limit. If you go, "KVD" style all day. Chuck a blade, crank, or vibrator bait and cover a lot of water. Might want to go to another lake. If you can get on DVL, that lake is on fire! Even the small lakes in SD like Jennings, Poway, and Murray are better. Good luck. TL

Wow what happened to Hodges? Used to be considered one of the better San Diego lakes as I recall.
