Coochies Scale

Post by DanIsaac »

that thing must be close to 40 years old by now. Should we start a collection to buy him a new one.......purchased by an objective individual,,,like "Tuna" or "Gator", or perhaps sTony ? Any ideas?

Dan

p.s. this place is too quiet, someone had to stir something up :)

Ya know, this thread is just a couple weeks too late, as his annual National holiday just passed!

We could git him a Cul-m-rite, but he couldn't figure out how to work it... and regardless of what we got him, he'd find a way to git it rigged to read "right" for him!   HAR!

I say we find a way ta get his bookin' sheet and just give the clients a real scale ta take wit 'em when they go out!

yeah, I quess my timing was a lil late. However, I just found one of the old hanging Stainless Steel Produce scales in one of our stores.

My thought is we could hang it on a post at the end of Cooch's dock. Anyone in the area that wanted to check their fish could just motor up, weigh it or them, then
release, thus adding to Andy's already vast collection! Only problem I can see with that though, these scales only go to 20#. That might just create a another problem down the road?

Git it over ta the house and I'll break out the screw gun and hang 'er up!

Now you'll just have ta find someone honest to go by and certify it every now and then, as you know the old guy is going to find a way to rig it in his favor if he can!
