Whats workin in folsom?

Post by MB916 »

Just curious what the conditions are like out on Folsom. What stage are the bass in? Possibly what depth? As well as what patterns are working? Thanks any suggestions or responses are greatly appreciated.

Fish are in all stages right now, with plenty of bedfish still to be found. Throw a dropshot on points leading back into coves, and check various creek inlet areas/coves for bedfish. You can catch smallies on the penninsula with jigs and a dropshot. Don't be afraid to throw a swimbait if you've got a little wind. Hope this helps...as the water level continues to rise around the bases of the trees, don't be afraid to bust out a finesse flip-rig (if that makes sense) and flip the hell outta every tree that's in the water. Good luck.
