Too bad, George. This might bump you out of the Top 100 Bass Websites rankings...

IS GEORGE KRAMER'S OUTDOOR WRITER CAREER OVER?

After year's of being the "in the know" guy in Western Bass fishing and now advancing out on his own with his own Kramer Gone Fishing webpage, George Kramer had a glitch in his first string coverage of bass fishing when KGF experienced a sudden flash and went off the screen.

Now everyone experiences these type of technology failures but Kramer going thru in July with all the pre event hype coming down for the ICAST show (suit and tie not required  ), the Silver Eagles dinner where Kramer will still be called "kid" by Harvey Naslund and the 30th U.S. Open on Lake Mead where George will once again try to convince us "Mead is the perfect lake for this event" during the live weigh in's featuring multiple 9 pound limits leaves one to wonder if his career covering water wars might be over sending him back to writing under a ghost name on local marina web pages for free pontoon rentals.

Not to mention a lapse of coverage in his following his 17th and only adopted child Brent Ehrler as he tries once again to capture FLW's prestigious AoY. Not expecting any Western angler to accomplish this title George has already written his "How the West Can't get it Done" piece scheduled to run minutes after the last angler crosses the stage.

This lapse of coverage can only leave one to think that Kramer's career as the leading Western writer of bass fishing and all that includes may well be over and passed on to other keyboard casters like John Caulfield, Tony Stoltz or Bill Mays.

I for one hope Kramer puts this slight set back behind him and proves once again that he can cover angling like none other and no matter how the voting on the Toyota Tundra All Star Week goes Skeet lost at least one vote during this computer down time at Kramer Gone Fishing World Headquarters located just minutes from the shores of So. Cal Bass fishing mecca Lake Elsinore!!!!!

Not sure I would get into a writing jousting match with a trained professional like GK. He's an assasin with words and known to tear someone to shreds using only two fingers on his keyboard. This could get ugly...but fun.

Tell me about it. We have been on the receiving end of it a few times, and we've had our ups and downs and disagreed. But he's still a friend and the best bass writer in the business. Your crazy to mess with him here though. Get him on the radio show where it's a fair fight.

Kramer's a shill... kb beat him into submission with one lousy post - not a peep in defense, not a pundit's retort, not an oratory volley... nothing! I think GK is washed up, cest la vie! He always was an over-rated hack anyway.

KB and GK sure have a way with words. What a blessing, but as for me that half of my brain turned into a prune some years ago. Keep up the good work you two.

Come on Kramer. KB took a shot across yer bow. Its time to step away from polishing all those RoadRunner blades and volley back like a good Writer should. :)

Kramer is old, over the hill, and a has been. :D Pretty much what he nailed me with the other day :D He's no match for KB, but it would be interesting and entertaining to watch. It would sure beat a lot of the "stuff" on this forum. The cool thing is they could have fun at it, not get pissed about it, and when they saw each other they'd laugh and have a beer together.
