Looking to pull Skiers from Bass Boat

Post by R. Duzac »

I have a Viper 188D with 200EFI and run a 25 Pitch Tempest for fishing.
I would like a better hole shot for pulling up my family on skis.
I know there's outboard Barefoot boats out there but I don't know what they run.

I would probably also try to use this prop for fishing above 3000 feet.

What have you done?
How well does it work?

Thanks,
Rene

Go with a 4 or 5 blade prop, it'll pop even the heaviest of skiers out of the hole like a cork!

If yer wake boarding or double skiing, the three blades are fine, but if ya git a single skier behind a bass boat, the drag of that single ski plowin behind the boat can be troublesome getting em out and the skier is gonna be fightin ta git out for a long spell.

My Ski/Bass has a 19p prop on it, seems to work fine. It has a 200hp Merc and is a 21' sled.
