WOW!!!!!!!! This absolutely horrible news! One of the best dudes around. This is truly SHOCKING! Man, just fished Saturday at Casitas Nights with him and he looked good and happy as ever too!

My thoughts and prayers out to his family!

Jim, you will be missed bud! Thanks for all the hard work with AC!

new to the west coast, jim was a big part in helping me break in to the tournament scene out here. he was extremely helpful and welcoming at all the Ts he ran. he was definitely devoted to the sport!!

Horrible news. I'm really saddened to hear this. My deepest condolences to his family and closest friends. Jim was an absolute class act and a genuinely great person to talk to. Compared to many of you on this message board, I didn't get to fish all that many tournaments of his but even so, he certainly made a positive impression on me, so I'm sure a lot of you veterans of his circuits are taking this hard and my condolences to all of you as well.

No doubt, this man will be missed by many. Rest in Peace, Jim.

Got the sad news early this morning. I have lost a good friend. But more important The fishermen have lost one of the true gentelmen of our sport. Jim worked very hard to but on good tournaments, and a quality product. He was always there to help anyone. Jim you will be missed our thoughts and prayers or with your family. Vern
