Is the H1N1 virus affecting your place of employment?

Our corporate headquarters released a statement today that no one is allowed within any of the ITT facilities if they have been to Mexico or had any contact with persons that have been there within the last 72 hours.

They also banned us from traveling to our plants down south.

Things are getting serious!

We did not allow one person to come to work that had a fever. Other than that nothing.
I'm flying to Oklahoma Monday and leaving Tuesday from there to Mobile. Back home on Wednesday and off to Vegas on Thursday. I will do my best to stay away from the pigs while I'm gone.

This is a similar virus to the one that killed 40 to 50 million people starting in 1918. I have read that the government has kept frozen tissue samples from the 1918 influenza H1N1 virus. In keeping with my conspiracy theorist attitude, I beleive that the Taliban, working closely with Castro, paid off an American scientist to get some of the tissue samples and are spreading the disease to the U.S. through our Mexican neighbors. With today's technology, it will not likely kill a lot of people, but they might catch us all sitting on the pot ... you know, attack us while our pants are down.

Yeah I’ve heard a few of those theories. The one I heard this morning was that the drug cartels paid a scientist to create this virus as a means of getting the Mexican government off of their back.
