To all Pro and AAA anglers planning to fish with us in the 2010 season:
Due to circumstances beyond the control of the Top Stick staff, we have been forced to drop the February Castaic Pro/Am and add a date later in the schedule. The new dates for this event are below. We realize this may cause disdain and distress for some anglers, and some will certainly cry foul for us changing the schedule so late in the game. For the anglers we have already talked to, and those I will be contacting today, I apologize for this change (since I stressed there would be no date changes unless lakes closed. But I could not foresee the circumstances that have arisen since our dates were selected.)
To summarize the situation:
The Top Stick Pros event scheduled for February 20, 2010 has been removed from the schedule and new dates are in place. We have selected the proposed date changes and have received approval of the dates from the DFG. A great deal of thought has been put into this change and we feel the changes will benefit ALL the anglers that plan to fish the Top Stick Pros this season.
The new dates are below:
March 13, Diamond Valley Lake
April Pyramid Lake
May 1, Diamond Valley Lake
May 23, Castaic Lake.
Oct 30, 31, Diamond Valley TOC
