As the two day event at Diamond Valley approaches a few things to keep in mind. The more teams that pre-sign the easier and faster we will get moving Saturday morning. We want to give you every minute of the 8 hours we have to give. Thursday February 25th is the deadline for credit card and PayPal sign ups. We will be at the lake Friday the 26th doing sign ups as well. There is no late charge if you sign up by Friday.Make sure you are clean and dry
We will be staging on the road as usual and Saturday morning the lake staff will be doing boat inspections and taking gate fees down below. It is important that one team member stay with the boat so inspection and gate fees can be done. Make sure you are clean and dry. The lake staff will not go past a boat with no one there so if you are not at the boat when they come around you will be holding up the line. We have made arrangements with the lake staff to be earlier than normal for this event to help get us up to the parking lot quicker.
Every team must check in at the trailer even if you have prepaid to be assigned your boat number. BRING YOUR COMPLETED ENTRY FORM WITH YOU. One member of the team must be present for the meeting at the trailer that will be staged on the street to take late sign ups and for the meeting that will be held promptly at 5 AM. The meeting is mandatory as we will go over the rules at that time. Make sure you are clean and dry. Depending on how many sign ups we have Saturday morning it will dictate when we can do the draw and announce launch order then, or announce launch order at the ramp. Launch order will be reversed for day two. For those that do not understand launch order reversal, Boat number 1 is first out on day one and boat number 50 is last out on day one, then on day 2 boat 50 will be first out and boat 1 will be last out. Flights will be in 15 minute intervals and will be announced after the sign ups are complete.
The lake staff has become more strict since the lake re-opened and even a drop of water in your livewell or bilge may cause you to fail inspection. Make sure you are clean and dry. If any team does fail inspection, they can use another boat but the boat will have to pass the lake inspection and launch with the general public(unless they can secure a boat, pass inspection, and get back in line before we go up the hill.)
We will be having a barbeque(Cujo's Big Smoke BBQ) for the anglers and we will have an event tent and stage. There is an add in this weeks WON Bass newspaper with an entry form and description of the event as well. We are looking forward to a fun, 2-day event that will benefit the United Way.

I got my donation to throw in the pot. Its is cash. How can I get it to you guys. I know if the mailman squeezes the envelop it will become lapdance money.. If we for some reason pull a Brian D and fail the inspection (not that I plan on it) what happens to the cabbage in the envelop...
Lookin forward to fishing and taking my hacks out there.
