Smallmouth in Castaic?

Post by John Barron »

YES THERE ARE SMALLMOUTH IN CASTAIC!

I should have pictures sometime tomorrow and if I hadn't seen it for myself I would have never believed it. Andy Yarbrough weighed in a 1.06# Smallie today in the Western States Police and Fire Games at Castaic. It could not mean a whole lot but then again......................

awesome. I want those fish to take hold. They would do soo well in Castaic. I want to catch one now. I guess I will be on the hunt for smallies on that lake.

At the Castaic bass club weigh in on Sunday I saw Marcia weigh in a smallmouth. First one I have seen in person come out of Castaic.
