Re: 2012 FLW Everstart Dates
Is the Everstart shared weight or individual. Also how does a co get ranger cup points? Is it based on how many points u accrew for fishing multiple events?

Re: 2012 FLW Everstart Dates
FLW is non shared weight events. Co's fish for their own 5 fish limit from the back deck. Pro chooses where and how to fish and Co is along for the ride and onlt competes against other Co's.
Ranger Cup in its basic form is being a registered Ranger boat owner. (See Ranger cup rules for year model eligability)
FLW is a great format for Co's who want to step up their tournament skills. Just know that no matter how early you may get to register for any event, priority is given to those who pay deposits for all 4 events when registration opens and you have to pay balace on deadline date to guarantee your spot. Also read the registration date guidelines, there are diffrent registration dates depending on former FLW participation and points standings. HOWEVER I have never known anyone who actually put down deposits on all 4 events and payed each balance on deadline date, not a day later, not get in to all 4 tournaments. I have known guys not get into a single event but had never commited to whole season.I have advised 6 cos on this over the last several seasons of both the Series ( now gone) and the Strens/Everstarst and they all got into all 4 no problems. Those who pick less than all 4 events or dont pay balance on time will be placed on waiting list or skipped.
I know there has been contention about how FLW does the registration and confirmations but this has been my experience.
Take care and tight lines!
Hope to see you there.

How does the closed period work on the Everstarts. The FLW rules that I see online seem to say the lake is off limits many weeks prior and then only open for practice Sunday, Monday and Tuesday prior to the event. Wouldn't that make it illegal to fish FLW if you fish any other event ( or guide or prefish) on that lake in the weeks prior. I see some conflicts if I am reading this rule correctly.

Kitjack, I am certainly not Zack, but I can answer your question. There are no offlimits for the everstart series.you with b fine fishing scheduled bodies of water with other orgs.although I am sure there are off limits for the championship on the quachita river.kitjack wrote:Bazs
