ABA silverwood

Post by BIG L »

Mr. Bill is there a variance for the wood next week. How many fish/length/can a single fisher person in a boat possess the same amount of fish as a 2 man team. or is it like last year? Are you using the Maint. gate or main gate.

I still would like to know what the variance is for size/amount/length/amount in boat with one angler as a team/gate we are going out of. Every year the lake reads it different. Need this info. before I make plans.

Is this event going to happen? I am questioning so due to the complete lack of information on the subject. 3 days away and I cannot locate information regarding the start time, meeting time, registration time, fish qty. particulars, etc.

I have searched the ABA site and all forums I can think of that might have this info.

Dunno, maybe its a secret and they don't want my business.

I just spoke to Bill.

We will be entering the lake at the contractor gate like always.
He will be there at around 430-5
They will most likely let us in the lake around 630
5 fish 13"

Not sure but I don't think they will be inspecting in the morning just like they did last year, didn't ask him about that but thats what happened last year.

See you all there :)

Okay Everyone I will be to the Lake by 5am to do the signups. The Rangers will be there to open the Contractor gate at 630am. We will have an 8 hour tournament, Weigh in will be at 3:00 Pm so we can get weighed in and cleaned up before they lock the gates at 5:00pm.

They will NOT be doing inspections at the contractors gate so if your not tagged you will have to come to the contractor gate, sign up and then go wait in the line at the front gate. I will take sign ups over the phone but need to have the money before you launch the boat. Remember you can go to Lake Perris to get inspected.

The tournament will be 5 Fish 13 inch mouth open on Flat Board per Team!!

Basic Entry $175
Ins. & Cons. $15
Lake fee $5

Lake Entry $18

Options

Big Fish $20
Easy Money $20
Dr. Plots $20
Big Bucks $20
Biggest Bass $25

All In W/ Entry $318
W/O Entry $300

Please call ME if you have any questions!! 951 236 8925

Thanks

Last weekend they had it 15' low. The weekend before last it was full pull.

I spoke to the rangers and the lake was lowered to do minor repairs on a flood gate in the aquaduct. He said it might be full again by the tournament but he wasn't sure. He told me that they could raise it 6' a night though.

Okay guys I just got final word from the rangers at Silverwood that we have to go through the main gate with everybody else. The Lake does not open till 7am so we will do a meeting at the top of the ramp and then as we get to go in we can do Live Well inspections and get launched. As soon as the last boat is in the water and ready i will get you guys blasted off as soon as possible.. Sorry for the last minute change.

Please get the word out to whoever you know that is going to be there

Thanks Bill

I was there today and boy was it nasty in the rain wind and hail, I took my boy and had to take him home at 9am to thaw out. Water was down 15'.40 degrees 20 plus wind and rain on Friday. I will be there alone this time.

We left quite embarrassed this afternoon. 2nd tournament ever and 2nd skunk! Sucks!
We had a couple of short fish and a striper but nothing for the livewell. I think our choice of bait was suspect as we were on fish all day.
I'll tell ya, nothin more stressful than an empty livewell with 1hr to go! Not a good feeling.

Anyway, gonna be a long wait till Dec 10th for redemption!

See yall at perris. Practice starts next weekend!!!

Brian
