We Have Lost Stan Panero, R.I.P. Bud......

Post by Richard - Sonora »

Stan Panero, my friend and sometimes partner has left us for the great tourny up there. Many of you will remember him from his participation in a number of tournament circuits, membership in the Modesto Castmasters and other bass fishing activities.
He was a fine gentleman and the best non-boater, back-seater I have ever met. I miss him already.
Tight lines, Bud.

Take a kid fishing, and don't forget about us older kids either..

This is truly sad news. This man was old school gentleman. I would run into him from time to time on Melones and Pedro and was always a pleasure to stop fishing a chat with him. This sport needs more like Stan! Heaven has become an even better place with him there. Rest in peace Stan.

A great man who will be missed. I always enjoyed the tournament morning conversations as well as the kind words he always had. Definitely will be missed by many.

I had the priviledge of fishing a good number of tournaments and countless days of fun fishing with Stan. Never a better guy to spend a day on the boat with. Stan loved bass fishing but more than anything he loved his wonderful family who he raved about all the time. Stan truly had it all and I miss my buddy. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. Rest in Peace Partner.
