Trojan SCS200 batteries

Post by Al S. »

Anyone out have any experience with Trojan's SCS200 deep cycle batteries? I'm running MK Fortrex 80 on a 24volt system. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks Al

I have used 2 scs225 for years and have had no problems at all. They last me a good 4-5 years.

Thanks for the response. I did run Trojan's (can't remember the series, but I don't believe they were SCS's) about 7-8 yrs ago and they lasted almost 6 yrs til they finally quit on me while out on the water, I went with another brand out of convenience and only got 2 yrs out of them. Going back to Trojan's. Dummy me for trying to fix something that's not broken. Thanks again.

I have used Trojans for years in my last several Rangers. I get them from Sunny's Marine in Sacramento. They are excellent!!

Get the SCS 225 if it's in your budget & you have the space.

Great wet-cell battery.

Once again, thanks to all who responded. Sometimes it takes a little feedback from fellow fisherman with experience help steer you in right direction - Much appreciated! Should have the two SCS200's delivered by tomorrow. Wanted to go with the 225's but it looks like its gonna be tight with the one's I got coming. Thanks Al
