OG redwood handcarve

OG for old growth. Carved this up tonight: Gonna be a jointed waking popper 8.5 inches of wood

Nufo like the head and dish face on this one...potential for great topwater...did a couple last spring with"popper" faces lota fun at the Delta in late spring & early fall. Have carved several from redwood....easy to shape 'em but the grain can give you headaches!!! Surfk9

Jointed, sealed and ready for testing.

Yes I stole the joint from the best (3:16) but won't do it again as it was a pain.

No balast in it and it sits nicely. Won't add any unless it needs it for action

Sealed it with ca glue and so far no grain issues it is a little brittle so I had to be careful
