ABA Folsom Results 12/11/11

Post by RipnRog »

I want to thank the 16 boats that showed up to fish today in the 28 degree temps this morning. Here are the TOP 5 teams the full standings will be posted on the American Bass Website by Wednesday. The first place team of Mike Tuck and Ron Diacon anchored there limit with a 6.82 spotted bass that was big fish of the tournament.

I want to tell Uncle Dave (Dave Rubin) that I feel for him... You see he drives here from LA to fish with Johnny Maes and his truck was attached to Johns boat and someone unhooked the trailer and stole his truck with all of his work tools in it... Whoever did this I hope they get in a car accident and are paralyzed and have to S#!t in a bag for the rest of there life....

1. Mike Tuck RonDiacon 20.37 $1530

2. Barry Davis Gary Charles 16.53 $700

3. Russel West Gary Okusako 14.43 $280

4. John Maes Dave Rubin 14.28 Free entry to the ISE show at Cal Expo compliments of Kent Brown and the ultimate bass show

5. Brand Little Travis Bounds 13.85

I launched at 11:30 and thought it was weird that a trailer was there with no truck! That sucks now I have to worry about my truck getting ripped off.

Daves truck was an older diesel truck with a lift gate on it... I believe they stole it for the tool boxes and tools in them as well as the lift....

Nobody better than Uncle Dave he would do anything to help any of us and for this to happen to him just sucks.....

Man what a job by Mike and Ron to win this tournament...20 pounds in December is pretty awesome. After the practice I had out there 2 bites in two days I felt pretty good catching 12 pounds and couldn't make the top 5. Not as many boats as we should get out there but if you win you beat a pretty tough Folsom field...

Thanks Roger and your crew, you guys do a great job

Hope Dave gets his truck back. Not to happy to hear about that at Folsom as I see a lot of trucks with tools in the back including mine.

I went out Friday and fished next to Mike and watched him catch an release three fish right next to me. I had two bites and got one after he took off but he put a whoopin on me there for a bit. He has something figured out. Good job Mike. Fishing has been tough to say the least.

Citrus Heights P.D. found it today around 3 pm abandoned in a neighborhood. Truck is in good condition, they slim jimmed it and punched the ignition out. Other than that they stole about $8,000.00 in specialty tools and parts for his buisness out of the back of the truck. Sucks, but at least he doesn't have to buy a new truck, I guess? Anyway, thanks for all the help and extra eyes out there. John Maes....

Glad he got his truck but it sucks they took his tools... I have a real issue in taking someones lively hood... Dave needs his tools to work... Hope he can get them replaced.
