That had to be some freaky $hit, to find a skeleton while he was fishing.
I can't imagine how strange that must have been for him.
What in the heck is he doing fishing on the Mexican side, anyway. It's not like those drug dealers have packed up shop and left.

I remember Jody White found a decapitated body wrapped in chains on the Delta many years ago during a WON BASS tournament. Frank Fernandes, being to compassionate guy that he is, asked Jody if he flipped to the shady side of the body. I found out later through teletypes at work that this new Delta "structure" was a big time drug dealer (go figure). Took a while to I.D. him because they also cut of his hands to eliminate fingerprints.

Ron, you bring back memmories. I was at that event and I fished the tree the day before where the body was found.
I have told this story a 100 times, I came to the weigh in tanks that 1st day and crazy *** Frank was ahead of me and that nut said MiIIKKKEEE with (his big *** eyes bulging out of his head) did you hear they found that dudes head. I took the bait and said "no Frank, you got to be kidding) he said yeah, and pointed into the tank, it's right there. For you guys that were not there it's a uncle Festor bald *** head lay'n on the bottom of tank looking up at us. I have never laughed so hard in my life and Frank was also laughing so hard I think blood was coming out of that foo's eye sockets. Every time I see that great frind nutcase we have a laugh about that day.
This is why we all fish (beside the money) for all the great friendships and great times together.
If Frank see's this post I know that clown will laugh his *** off again.

just think of how many crawdads, bluegill and talapia were feasting down there - i dont know what i would do to set the hook and pull up a feemer???

Pretty sure I went to grade school jr high and high school with the fellow they found in the delta. I had no idea until now that the body was found in a tournament. I want to say this took place in about 1993.
